Entitlements for the Rich, Conservatives, and Republicans

I am one of those who has always been against entitlements because they create dependency.
However I find it interesting, all those who argue against entitlements are actually the biggest users of entitlements.
Mortgage tax deductions for homes up to a million dollars and tax deductions for capital gains on property give the rich more handouts than the average apartment dweller or the poor.
So if we want to eliminate the entitlements, how come the rich, conservative, republicans never mention elimination of these tax deductions. Tax deductions of these nature are handouts, under a different name. A rose by any other name is still a rose.

Arlen Spector is whats wrong with Politics!

Arlen Spector announced he is going to switch parties for the next election. This is what is all that is wrong with politics. This man is 79 years old. He has been there over 20 years. We should have age limit on serving. At 70 maximum they must retire and let others serve. They are selfish in wanting to continue. Politics should be a service and not a career.
This idiot of a man, wants to change parties because he believes he can't win in his parties primary!!!! Sounds like a sore loser to me.
If Mr. Obama does control the democratic party they should tell this gentleman to take a hike.
Mr. Obama want to earn points with me? Tell Spector to walk. Change is young blood.
Change is eliminating idiots out of our government. Do you really want a person as such in your party?
You know what, I have a feeling you are going to welcome him. Thats what you have become 100 days into this; a disappointment and a joke.

The Problem with Bio Fuel

A question has been bothering me for awhile. The more I think about bio fuel the more I am wondering if it is really feasible. The cost of bio fuels currently is not economical. Not just in financial terms, but also because of the water requirements.
Water is a resource the world is in need of conserving. The shortage of water is an ever increasing concern globally. The water shortage is caused by bad management. In this world we grow crops in countries where they shouldn't be grown. Thus we are wasting water and creating a shortage. Wheat grows better in the US and China, yet they grow it in India and Brazil where it is as economical.
When we take the water requirements of feed for bio fuels we must question the solution everyone seems intent on pursuing.

Can we afford bio fuels, if it creates further water shortages?


3/4 of the world's water usage goes to agriculture.

Obama's Extortion

This week I got an email from Obama and his people asking to help the President with helping America. Thats all and well. However it went on to say if we wanted to help the President fight for us we should donate to his campaign? Donate??? This is extortion.
This is not change, its unethical, its corruption. I will not give money so his political people have jobs and money to live the luxe life. I thought only in Africa did African men lead like this. Another African man raping his people and the poor and letting his friends benefit. Some change.

10 000 idiots donated money this week. I guess there will always be blind followers to drink the kool aid.
