There is no politcal corectness.

Sometimes we go too far with political correctness. In some parts of world they don't worry about it. In fact they aren't even aware of it. How else would you explain Gazprom (the Russian oil company) and Nigeria signing a deal for a $2.5 billion project called Nigaz.

I'll bet on the cop!

I am brown, and never liked police. However with this incident between the cop and the harvard black professor Henry Louis Gates Jr, I am going to bet on the cop. Taking a page from Obama (who commented on the case without knowing all the facts) I am going to comment based on my own image of Gates from watching him on some shows. Not on facts or on having heard both sides. Gates is an arrogant SOB, who wouldn't know how really people feel. Like all academia he lives a sheltered life and likes to claim racism.

I bet he mouthed off. Its in his DNA ( something he seems to know about ). The sad thing is the President of the US took sides on this issue. Do you not have better things to do.

When my neighbor calls the cops because they thought somebody was breaking in to my house, I don't think I would let the incident get to the point of arrest.

But a self serving, arrogant, SOB, who thinks he knows everything, like Gates probably couldn't help himself. Its not his fault. Its in his genes.

A man like that needs a beating. I wish the cops were corrupt and took him out back and gave him something real to complain about.

Green and Poor

Are poor people responsible for the climate change? I would argue, No! They were not able to add to the carbon footprint as much as the wealthy and the middle class. Yet we expect them now to change their lives and pay for our lifestyle. All the proposed changes will impact the poor more than the rich.
Those who speak of changing the planet are hypocrites. These are the people who live in huge homes, drive cars all the time, fly, and consume energy and goods at much greater levels than the poor.

66 Kids go hungry!

Yesterday was another hot dog eating contest. The winner ate 66 hot dogs! 66 hot dogs which would have fed 66 hungry children. I have complained about this before, but the thought of 66 hungry kids bothers me. One man eats while 66 kids go hungry. This is a contest that should be stopped!!!! Its an insult to humanity.
