Can have your cake and eat it too

We never got American sayings, however this one we are going to use.

Globally there was a ruckus when France bans burka's and head scarves.  All Muslim countries and their governments comment on freedom of choice and racism.  We believe everyone has the right to their culture, however we contend it should not be imposed on others and your culture must take a back seat to the country you live in.  If the country you chose to live in has a different set of rules, then you must adapt. Otherwise find a country which fits your cultural need.

This week the muslim and western presses presented a story condemning the actions of Marie La Pen for refusing to wear a head scarf for a meeting with a cleric in the middle east.  Here at MMM we support her actions.  If you want the world to respect your culture, you must support theirs. You can't demand the world respect your culture and then insist guests in your country must abandon theirs.  I think this is wanting a cake and eat it too?

Because I am tired of "I told you so!"

The question is asked, why the lack of blogs in the recent months.  Its simple.  There is nothing new to say.  The problems we as a world are facing are the ones I have been blogging about for years.  Now you are seeing the fruits of inaction.  The results of denial and pacifism.

How many times can we say to OBAMA do something!!!!!  The war is Syria never happened.  The war in the middle east got abandoned.  Now you have countries worth of people migrating to countries who wanted nothing to do with helping the situation years ago.  The Europeans have always been in denial.  They avoided the situation by blaming Bush.  Then they let the spineless ONE take over and try to avoid the truth.

The world needs to fight the irrational ISIS and all extremist.  There is no negotiations, there should be no diplomatic overtures...kill these motherfuckers!!!Simple.

However we leave continents away and it doesn't show up on our door step....welll Europe its there now....what you going to do?

Absentee

I have been absent for much of the year. My travel schedule had been horrible.  I have not followed much of the world however I can give you a quick summation.
Obama re-elected; proves their is no accountability in American politics. Unless he finds a spine many more people will die and suffer in hopes of freedom in his second term.

Republican party; not the brightest in the world.  Will never win unless they take religion and morals out of their platform and stick to less government and fiscal responsibility.

Syria; sorry we have a spineless one.   You will win in the end.

Egypt; proving me a genius. I had said
years ago, first person to try to make a country religious in the post Bush era will get strung up.  Good work proving the thesis Morsi. Freedom takes time.

And on my usual list of contempt; Pakistan. Girls being killed by ignorants and family members. The whole country needs to be eliminated.

Finally the stupidity in the western world.  Three family members die in California trying to save a dog from the surf.  Dog survives. ! Absurd!

Old thinking

There is this school of thought in America which has become dangerous because it's not fluid.  Ideology must adapt with the times. Our world changes, thus our ideology must adapt with the new variables.
The thinking has been we must protect Israel because they are surrounded by enemies.  This is well and true, but in the last two years Israel has isolated itself from the majority of the world at a high risk for it's future security and consequently the future security of America.  In global world, Israel is building walls.  When the walls of tyranny are falling down all around them, Israel will become the last practitioner of tyranny.

How can a culture stereotyped for being business minded, be so blind to the economic benefits of peace? The middle east countries all
around them are evolving into democracy and capitalism. This should create new economies which Israel should be able to thrive in.
However Israel is stuck in the idea of placating or opposing selfish dictators who are no longer in charge. Make the deal now before you
lose all your leverage.

Israel and Yemen

So the uprising across Egypt is great for those who believe in Freedom. I have been on this band wagon for 10 years, and backed Bush because I saw this as the fruition of the war in Iraq.

Now that its here, I wonder if its the right thing? Yes it is.
Israel is not happy. Israel doesn't like what Obama is doing (i think he isn't doing enough). They are afraid of what democracy in Egypt will mean. They should be. They have been pulling crap for decades and avoiding the truth. The fact Israel is scared is a good sign. They know they cannot get away with things which are wrong to the people by appeasing one man(dictators).

Secondly there is this huge fear of freedom in Yemen could lead to major chaos. Its true, Yemen is the wild wild west and no one can control what could happen. However the problems that will arise will not be for the US, but Saudi Arabia. The bad stuff will be directed to SA. YEAH!!!!!!
Lets have a go. Lets make it happen. I am ok, with that. You want leverage on the assholes, then this is it. You want protection, lets change your country. Freedom, democracy, equality....lose the royalty.....keep your heads....pretty good deal when the neighbor goes postal.

Gitmo VIP section

I am so happy with what is happening in Tunisia, Egypt and Yemen. I feel all these years of pushing the rightness of Bush Doctrine, in spite of George W, is coming true.

These countries need to be flipped. Now it is happening and the US President is silent. When will he wake up?

What I am wondering is where do dictators, kings and presidents go when after decades they get thrown out? Usually its France. French will take all dictators, but times have changed.

Perhaps we can convert part of Guantanamo into a luxury resort for these people who will be needing an out.

Gitmo VIP section for King Abudullah, Saud family, Mubarak Family, Assad Family, .....
A family oriented resort.

I would take my family there to visit them....lol
