Hope and Optimism is America.

A week after the stunning victory and America is still alive. There is a lot of anger out there and it's understandable. You should be angry.  What is the most interesting is who is the most angry in America.  I was caught off guard by who took this Democratic loss the hardest.

First off its the foreigners on social media and I say to them #$&@! Y'all.  You don't live in our country and had no idea what our daily lives are and what our issues are.  The same foreigners who want to say America needs to stop being the bully are the same ones consumed by our election.  Hey the winner claims he wants to be inclusive, you should be happy.

My true friends on the losing side were heartbroken but they could see why and how this happened and began to admit there is an issue in America where a whole bunch of people felt left out. Is it not a sign of democracy when the downtrodden can effect the election?  It's should be a positive when the money and influence get defeated.

The angry are the snobs. Snobbery came to light and snobbery lost.  All those people deep in their heart who believe they are better than those who have an opposing view.  Yes you may be a liberal and peace nik but you feel those who are not aligned with you are not your equal as human beings.  The opposing voice makes them angry. They are considered ignorant. It's ignorance because their priority is not yours.  So you have angry white snobs rioting in Portland and such.  Do you notice the cities with the riots are not really inner cities who have issues? These are spoiled kids who can't believe, there are people who don't think like them. Who talked about the system and tradition when their opponent threatened to contest and now they are doing it violently. They don't see the irony.

Angry liberal media snobs. The media in America has for a long time stop representing the people. They are elites busy telling people what they thought instead of covering what the people were thinking. They highlighted one candidates faults while hiding the others thinking the electorate was stupid. They were all wrong on their coverage and predictions because it was based on them and not the people they claim to represent.

Intellectual academia snobs. These are the people who would tell us how destructive one candidate was to the psychology of America while never addresing the past damage already done by the other candidate. These group would continue to find excuses to justify what was wrong and unethical. Discounting the influence of a class which is not interested in their views.

Around me this week there were a lot of sad people at the state of America but the angry ones showed their snobbery. The angry ones can not believe sane reasonable people could vote for the winner.  Since it never occurred to them that anything besides their view is acceptable.  The angry ones are still trying to claim;  the voters who voted have no idea what they voted for, (which could turn out to be true) but they know why they voted as such and they cannot be look down upon.  I voted for Obama and did not get what I expected but I don't remember people looking down at me for voting for change. Voting for an unknown quantity. Biggest regret of my life.

America will survive this as it did the half white spineless one, but hopefully Americans have learned the lesson of over looking the disfranchised. The Democratic party lost poor working people. How?  Because the party and media wanted to be the elite. 

Eight years ago I was heartened with my country because it did what was unexpected. It elected a half white man. Thou I did not endorse this candidate I felt  heartened that America again did what I thought was not possible. It rejected the establishment against all odds. It reaffirms people can change America. Now we the people must start giving ourselves better candidates to represent us.  This hopefully breaks the system. Hope and optimism is America.

I told you so!

Months ago, year ago, how spineless had no clue what he was doing.  What is happening in Iraq was predicted, what is happening in Ukraine was predicted, yet it happens.

50 000 civilians were about to be slaughtered before spineless does something.  Even now he is still trying to hedge his bets.

Unreasonable people are not reasonable?  You cannot negotiate or appeal to them.
You abandon Iraq and what happens?  Why are American forces still in Japan, Germany and South Korea still?

The bombing better continue or else this will just be a reprieve.  These idiots have decreed mutilation of women, slaughter of non muslims and overthrow of governments.  What are we waiting for?

Look I like to gloat but this isn't right.  Its too easy to be right with spineless and its not right when children are dying everyday.  I rather be wrong then have my predictions come true.

Lets move on to the other issues:
Israel vs Hamas
I have purposely avoided commenting on this over the last month, because its nothing new and there is nothing for me to say, I haven't said before.  Hamas is a terrorist group whose leader sits in Dubai ordering the innocents sacrifice their lives.  However this only happens because Israel is a terrorist organization disguised as a nation.  You get shot at because you are running a concentration camp. Innocents and moderates do drastic things when life has no meaning.  How great are you when you beat up unarmed people.  Want to fight, lets get both side the same equipment...Then Go!!!! People have to fight their governance on both sides.   In one month Israel just bred two generations more of hatred...good tactical move.

Ukraine
Russia is playing with fire and only doing it because Europe has been in denial for decades.  Now they have no idea what to do?  Indifference again.  Why shouldn't Putin push the buttons, nothing really happens.
How stupid is Putin, he has banned food from Europe and US.  60% of his food is imported, thats bright.  Really hurting us, if you don't buy our food....starve yourself to prove your might.
Again this could have been stopped if someone had the nerve to explain to him early what the cost was going to be.  Not now.....297 innocent traveller later we get serious, all of us are unsafe.

Lets not forget the girls in Africa are still missing, but spineless is hosting African leaders at the white house.   The best thing for Africa would have been for all these corrupt leaders to have died while in America.  Of course that is not allowed, it would be immoral and against international norms, but allowing them to rape their lands and people is ok.  Daughters are still missing and the one with daughters cannot be sitting still.   This issue alone makes him the worst ever!  Do something!!!!

Stand your ground.

It's one of those days where it's not hot and its not cold.  It may rain but you never know.  However I know I feel like a cup of coffee.  So I decide I will go to the neighborhood coffee house and read some news.  This isn't as easy as it sounds.  Coffee houses are such a fashion scene you just can't show up.  I had to find the right outfit for hanging at the bucks. I put on an old faded jeans, a plain v neck tee and for “ I am not to old to be hip statement"  a hoodie.  To be honest I am trying too hard to fit in the young crowd.  We all have our insecurities. 
Then comes the biggest hurdle.  How to get to the coffee shop.  It's a bit of a walk but I would prefer to drive.  However I don't have an electric car and if the hip people at the coffee shop found out I drove here it would ruin my street cred with the "in"  save the world crowd who drink bottle water.  If I was a comedian I wouldn't have this problem.  Jerry Seinfeld would probably pick me up in an expensive car and buy me coffee. http://comediansincarsgettingcoffee.com.  So walk it is.

Just as I am leaving the house it occurs to me, I am not white.  I am going to walk thru a mostly white suburb in a hoodie?  That in America in 2013 is as dangerous as living in Chicago under mayor Emmanuel.  Now I have never been a hunter, never felt threatened and since my parents moved me from Africa I have lived in a society with law and order.  Still the insecure, irrational me bought a handgun.  Because someday I might want to shoot someone. Why else would anyone own a gun? Duh!

So off I went to the coffee shop.  I felt like a man walking in my hoodie thru a suburb packing heat.  I might have had a hard on.  Almost shot a housewife watering her lawn.  I thought for a second she was pointing the hose at me.  Lucky for her I am not easily threatened and also I wasn't sure stand your ground would hold up in this scenario.

So I get to the coffee house, order a latte with soya, no fat, no sugar,fat free chocolate.  Sit down and nod at all the cool people on their laptops.  I wish I had a laptop to surf porn.  As I am drinking my whatever this shit is that cost the equivalent of a meal at a fast food place, I see George Zimmerman across the room.  Now a flood of emotions comes rushing into me.  This guy killed an innocent man.  He took another life. He put himself in a position he could have avoided.  One he should have avoided.  What value did he have for life?  The value of property was worth more than a life based on a chance this man could be a thief. I was getting angry.  I was about to go confront him and then terror struck me!
Oh my god!  If I go there and say something....oh shit I am wearing a hoodie!  I am non white. I am holding skittles.  This is George Zimmerman!  My life flashed before my eyes.  I just pulled my gun out and shot him.  He probably never even saw me.  Whew I had survived. 

I knew the law and the people who supported George Zimmerman would stand behind me.  Even thou I am not white, and am a Muslim.  This was not about race!  This was stand your ground!  Here I was wearing a hoodie, holding skittles and an armed man with a history of killing such people was in front of me.  My life was in danger. I did what any sane gun owning individual would do.  I shot him before he could shoot me.  Now some of those people who were for Mr. MARTIN might say, he was just sitting there having coffee, (ie why get out of the car) but he was in my coffee shop in my neighborhood and I knew at that moment in time my life was in danger.

In 2013 in America the greatest nation on earth.  The most civilized of them all,  a citizen can shoot another to protect himself based on perception and profiling. 

Education In America

There is this perception education in America is lousy. I will agree there are a lot of problems with it, however I also believe its not the teachers all the time, its not the school, its not what we are teaching, but the culture of extra curricular activities.

FOOTBALL IS THE EVIL OF AMERICAN EDUCATION. If you eliminate football from high school and university and all activities related to the game ( band, cheer leading, etc) you will immediately improve the health and education of our children.

Our children are not at their best as they are stressed, sleep deprived thru their high school years trying to keep up with ridiculous schedules, due to the time wasted on extra curricular activities.

India and China and any other country with rising education standards does not have Football teams........

A teenager needs time to be free. A teenager cannot be up until late hours doing homework and then report early to school to march or practice. ABSURD.

Time and money spent on Football alone can cure the "American Education Crisis".
I may not be completely right, however I never ever hear in any education discussion the idea of elimination of high school and university football. If we are going to seriously think about this, then we must admit the culture is off.

Sports should be for health and fitness and intramural style. Not the way it is today.
