Are Muslims more Green

Since the world is all about being green now and global warming it has occurred to me muslims are more green than christians.
Here is my reasoning. During this month of Christmas how many trees are being cut and used. How can cutting trees for ornamental reasons be a good thing.
Are trees not part of the global warming agenda? Does Al have a tree for christmas?
Don't get me started on lights and how much energy they use up. Thanks Allah muslims don't celebrate x-mas or the drain on our renewable resources would surely make Al stop travelling on private jets.
