A Muslim loves Thanksgiving.

Today is Thanksgiving. As a muslim man who lives in America, this is the only muslim holiday in the calendar I can back.
One its about thanks. The muslim religion is about thanks. Anyday which promotes us looking down and being thankful for what we have is a holiday a muslim must celebrate.
Two its on a Thursday. So a muslim can fill up and party and do all that, and then the next day is the holy day.
Three it has nothing to do with religion. Unlike Christimas there is not a religious association.
Four it has no consumerism attached to it yet.
Fifth and the most important to this muslim is NO CHRISTMAS MUSIC!!

Here are what a muslim is thankful for today. One I don't live in an Arab country. Two my daughters are equal human beings in this society. Three I have a roof, food and paper to wipe my ass. Four our lives are safe. My children have a 99% chance of not being blown up by a bomb. Unfortunately this is not the case in most arab countries.

Lastly Turkey is no goat, but atleast its not ham. So a muslim can enjoy the feast as well as the day off.
Every human should have a right to have a day when he has something to be thankful for. The arab world cannot do that. Its people have nothing to be thankful for. that is whats sad. That is what's wrong in this world. Thats what all muslims in America should appreciate and wish for their brothers and sisters.
