Remembering Jack
Today a brave courageous, saint of a man died. Jack Kervokian passed away at the age of 83.
Jack defied the culture and tradition to bring compassion to those who needed it the most.
It is fate this week I watched a Bollywood movie called Guzaarish which was about a man petitioning an Indian court for the right to end his suffering.
What made Jack a man I respected is the fact he never profited from his cause. In this notoriety driven age, he was about a cause and like Ali he went to jail for his convictions.
The justice of Allah will usher Jack to the thrones of heaven today for the cruelty and unjust treatment of the American justice system.
Rest in peace, Allah will be with you.
